1950's Rare 20" German Composition Doll with Tin Eyes

This wonderful 1950's Rare 20" German Composition Doll with Tin Eyes is in great condition for her age. Her joints move very smoothly, when you turn her head, her eyes easily move back and forth, her wig is in great condition, and she still has her bow and original outfit. I was able to find her date of manufacture from a series of photos from Germany (see last photo) Her body appears to have been covered in Gesso, to make her body smooth for the paint, as revealed from the damage to her left foot.

She has a few faint scratches on her face, a scuff on her right eyelid (which revealed the tin eyes) scuffs on her painted body (see photos) Her left shoe is in bad condition, revealing the paint missing from her foot, exposing the gesso. The foot itself does not appear damaged. Two of her fingers have slight damage (see photos)
