$35.98
This wonderful 1960's Vintage MCM Dark Green dress with original tags still attached, is in amazing shape. The only flaw I could find was a glue mark on the back, above the belt line, which may have happened at the factory. (See Photo)
The brand is "Lucinda" and the original price, listed on the back of the collar tag, reads $35.98. Using an inflation calculator, from amortizationtable.org, I discovered that the price was the equivalent of $365.17 today.
The dress is made of Creslan and Rayon, but what is Creslan? Creslan was an acrylic fiber, whose advantages were the ability to be brightly colored, and warm although light weight. It was often used in blends.
The chest, when measured flat, is 18-inches, the waist, when measured flat, is 13-1/2, the entire length, when measured from the back of the collar, is 42-1/2-inches long and the sleeves, measured from the shoulder, are 19-inches long.
The dress comes from a smoke free home.
