This beautiful print of Jesus was painted in 1945 by world renowned artist Warner Sallman and is in amazing condition, with no flaws discovered. The glass inside the frame is very heavy, with the print, frame and glass weighting in at a surprising 5.6 pounds.
The original gauge tape, which is holding the print to the back of the frame, has come loose on one corner, and needs reinforced. This gap has unfortunately allowed some dried grass to blow inside the frame, which can be seen behind the glass, but has not caused any damage to the print.
The hanging wire on the back, which was originally attached with two small screws, is now only attached at one end, as one screw is missing. I have used blue painters' tape to tape the wire to the cardboard, so it doesn't get snagged during shipping.

He is best known for his portrait of Jesus, head of Christ, of which has sold more than 500 million copies. In 1994, The New York Times wrote that he was likely to be voted the best-known artist of the century.
