This beautiful 1940's Vintage Sailor styled Satin Wedding dress with train is detailed with amazing bead work and sports an iconic off the hip design. I have found no flaws with this dress.
The manufactures tag reads "Jays Temple place, Boston", which was a Boston department store offering ladies' apparel and goods; founded in 1918, it survived into the 1960s, eventually having branches in several other New England cities.
The chest, measured flat, is 16" wide, the waist, measured flat, is 14" wide, the sleeves, measured from the shoulder, are 24" long and 5.5" wide, measured flat. The front of the dress, measured from the back of the collar, is 57" long and the back, measured from the collar is 78" long. The dress zips up on the side and the sleeve cuffs button.
