This 1973 Vintage Ivory laced Daisy themed wedding dress with a waterfall train is in amazing condition, with the only issue discovered being a rip in the interlining paper inside the interior dress, possibly from a shoe. The piece that was ripped is still attached and is not noticeable from outside the dress, as its liner paper, not part of the body of the dress. (See photos-quarter added for scale)
The daisies on the dress were used during the 1960's- early 70's as a symbolic action of protest against the Vietnam War.
The length of the front / main body of the dress, measured from the back of the collar, is 56" long, while the length of the back of the dress, measured from the back of the collar, is 84" long. The chest, measured flat, is 17" wide, the waist, measured flat, is 13.5", the sleeves, measured from the shoulder, are 25" long and 5.5" wide to the elbow, where they flare out to 8.5", then scale back down to the wrist cuffs, which are 4.5" wide.
The dress zips up the back and has snaps at the wrist cuffs. The original order tag, which is located inside the left sleeve, reads January 8, 1973.
