Vintage MCM Paper Mache Pinocchio Disney Character

This wonderful Vintage MCM Paper Mache Pinocchio Disney Character is truly one of a kind! The body is very stiff and appears to be made out of a type of fabric, which was dipped into the Paper Mache sludge, versus the character made out of paper, dipped into the Paper Mache sludge. It does have a few flaws, which include cracks around the characters wrists. The arms are part of a wire armature, and while still attached, the hands do move slightly at the wrists, due to those cracks. (See photos)

The head also appears to have been glued back on, as there are slight cracks visible around the neck and there is a long line of what appears to be glue that trails down from the base of the neck to the bottom of the shorts and then onto the base where the character stands. I tried to remove it, thinking it may be wax, but it is indeed a type of glue. (See photos)

The Character is posed in a way that suggests he was holding a guitar at one time. He stands almost 19 inches tall; his base is 5-1/2 inches wide, and he comes from a smoke free home.
